My wife and I, along with our two lap dogs and 3 grown children stayed the weekend in the 1876 Governor Lubbock house. It was a great experience!
From Ana, our host's, detailed communications leading up to our arrival, to her personal FaceTime orientation of the property - the neighborhood and places we might want to visit in Galveston - to the manicured yard and thoroughly clean house,.... all on top of the history-charm-and character of the house itself.... 5 Stars!

This house is a stunner! Gorgeous historic home with tons of character and charm in an ideal location in the East End historic district. Just a short walk walk to great restaurants and shopping and entertainment! Ana was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She even had some cold drinks on the fridge, some tasty treats, and useful coupons for us! We could have asked for a better place to stay or a better host!
